We appreciate the Original Six’s interest in our community through the gift of the electronic sign that is located at our busiest intersection.
It is a bright light in our town that has enabled us to share some of the positive events in Allendale, such as meetings, shows, plays, church affairs, Farmers Market announcements, health programs, fishing tournaments, parties, business openings and celebrations of all kinds.
Unfortunately, we recently lost our local newspaper. Therefore, the sign certainly has become an added value for our community at this time. The electronic sign most definitely keeps us connected as we work, play and worship in Allendale.
But not only is it good for us, the sign is also good for people passing through the area because it gives them a snapshot of the positive side of our town.
We would be amiss if we didn’t thank Diana Stevenson with Grace Outdoor for her patience and the timely manner in which she responds to our requests to place announcements on the sign.
