robotics boxes

Today our staff had the distinct pleasure of delivering the much awaited robotic kits purchased through Lego Education for the 21st Century Learning Centers in Marlboro County.  It truly did feel like Christmas in July for the curriculum advisors who were on-site to receive the 33 boxes.  We are thrilled to offer such a great program to the middle school students at Clio Middle School and Wallace Middle School who will take part during this upcoming year.   The robotics program will launch mid-September and will last approximately ten weeks.  The best part, the kits are reusable over and over so many, many more students will be able to take part at a later time.

These kits are sure to be a great investment in the lives of interested students as the United States’ economy is becoming even more dependent on advanced technology and innovation.  Our foundation will continue to support and foster students who truly show an interest in the field by paying the way for them to compete in competitions and further advance theirroboticsblogheader knowledge.

Thank you to our sponsor AT&T SC for making this donation possible.

Please call The Original Six Foundation at 803-244-9511 to see this program during implementation.  We will also post updates as the program launches with pictures of the students using the kits.
