Kimberli Scott is one of the 4th generation Owners and Director of Human Resources of Collum’s Lumber Products, LLC in Allendale, SC.  CLP, which has grown to be one of the leading Southern Yellow Pine producers in the Southeast, includes one of the most modern sawmill and planer operations that not only provides dimensional lumber but produces treated wood, poles, in-woods chips, biomass, and remanufactured components as well.

In her industry, Ms. Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Lumber Manufacturing Association and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee. She also serves on the Finance Committee for the Softwood Lumber Board and is the Chair of the Nominating Committee for the Treated Wood Council.

Ms. Scott graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Retail Management and Merchandising in 2004, earned an Associates of Art in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2007, and received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Accounting from the University of Tampa in 2010.

On a local level, Ms. Scott is currently on the Advisory Committee for the United Way of Allendale County as well as the Advisory Committee for forming a Regional Chamber of Commerce within local rural communities. She has recently been acting as Industry Facilitator for the 3 year strategic vision for Allendale County School District by the appointed Superintendent Dr Margaret Gilmore, while also sitting on the Advisory Committee for the Allendale US2020 STEM Coalition Grant.  In addition, Ms. Scott resides on the Board of Directors for the Animal Advocates of Barnwell County and is Fundraising Chair for that non-profit organization. She is also associated with the InMates/Mutt Mates/Meow Mates program with Allendale Correctional Institution. Ms Scott previously served on the Board of Trustee’s for The Original Six Foundation. In 2014, she was named South Carolina Ambassador for Economic Development in Allendale County by former Governor Nikki Haley.

Ms. Scott’s true passion is to provide care for abandoned and abused cats and dogs; place these animals in stable and loving homes; promote spaying and neutering to reduce animal population; and to educate the community on proper care and treatment of all animals. Kimberli’s love for animals is demonstrated by her own 12 rescued dogs and 4 rescued cats that she lovingly regards as her children.
